The Wildlife Club promotes fellowship among sportsmen in the Chatham County area.

The Chatham County Wildlife Club is a private organization which consists of 100 members. It is located on 105 Acres in scenic Chatham County, North Carolina. Members enjoy fishing in the pond, shooting skeet, sighting in rifles on the rifle range, fellowship in the clubhouse, and the scenic views of rural Chatham County.

The Wildlife Club has been a strong supporter of the Boy Scouts of America, both financially and practically. Local Scout Troops enjoy using the facilities, which provides a place for fishing, camping and canoeing. Open space provides an area for archery and other scouting activities. Each year, the club raises money for charitable causes, and the local Scout Troops have often been the beneficiary.

The facilities include a large clubhouse, complete with modern facilities. The large hall is used as a dining area during club meetings, and can seat over 100. The spacious kitchen provides room to prepare meals for a large number of people. The screened porch off the back of the kitchen houses a huge grill- large enough to cook dozens of chickens. An extra large fireplace warms the hall in winter. The large back deck overlooks the lake.

The facilities can be rented for family reunions, class reunions, etc. There are strict rules and a donation to the Club is mandatory. The Club reserves the right to refuse use, under any circumstance. Contact one of the Club Officers for more information.
