Rod's Hot Wildlife Dip

The following recipe has been the regular favorite appetizer of the Wildlife Club for many years.  Here it is:

 Ingredients
 Two lbs. Neese's HOT sausage
Two regular cartons of Philadelphia cream cheese
Two regular size jars of MEDIUM salsa
3 or 4 fresh jalapeno peppers
 Two large bags of chips.

Cook the sausage in a saucepan over medium heat until brown.
Change heat to low - add the cream cheese -- stir it in with the sausage until it is fully melted in.
Add the salsa and the peppers (sliced or diced - - including seeds) for taste - let simmer gently until thoroughly melted together. DO NOT LET IT BURN.
(For those who prefer mild flavor without the heat - just leave out the peppers OR cook part with peppers and part without)
Serve hot with regular Frito Scoops, bite-size Tortilla white corn chips, or saltine crackers. (It requires a strong chip).
Serves as a great appetizer for about 35 - 40 people.

At the grocery store - when you get the ingredients for the above - if you buy several
jalapeno peppers - be sure to get a couple extra rolls of toilet paper - just in case!!!!!!!
