Scouts Thank The Wildlife Club

CCWC,

Our thanks go out to the Wildlife Club for allowing us to use the facility. A great camporee would have not been possible without the facility. The rain made lots of mud but I hope the wind dried out the road and other areas so it doesn't look like we totally destroyed the place. Even with the rain, we had a larger than normal crowd for the Camporee!!

We made every effort to leave the building and grounds in better shape than we found it. A new return filter was installed in HVAC system, the floor in the building was mopped and we actually got our chief to do some cleaning in the bathrooms. We really appreciate your support of scouting and because of the club we had a great time! Thanks again for allowing us to utilize your facility.

Green's Supper Club

Some of the members recently took Keith McLaughlin to Green's Supper Club,
where Keith used to dazzle the crowd with his amazing guitar playing.

Wildlife Club Thanks Mrs. Anna Gyles

On May 16 at Best Foods Cafeteria, Board Members Rod Tidy, Rudy Mullis, and
Ernie McLawhorn presented Mrs. Anna Gyles with a plaque of appreciation.
The club thanks Mrs. Gyles for selling the 50 acres of adjoining land to the Club.
Her family has been very supportive of the Club and we are very grateful.
After lunch, Rudy took Mrs. Gyles out to the Club, and she was very impressed.
The Club now has 105 acres, and plans to name the newly acquired land after
Mrs. Gyles' family.
